Sporting Gijon attacker Diego Castro has refused to be drawn into speculation linking him with a summer move to Valencia, maintaining that he has made no decision on his future.

The 28-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season, and reports in Marca suggest that Los Che are lining up a Bosman swoop should Castro decide to leave El Molinon.

However, speaking to journalists yesterday regarding the interest from the league leaders, the former Malaga winger stated that his destination as yet remained unclear, but that he was also unaware of interest from rival La Liga sides.

He said, “For now, there is nothing new, but there will be no trouble reaching an agreement. I have a very good relationship with the club.”

Should negotiations between the two parties falter, however, Valencia are ready to swoop, while Getafe are also interested in submitting an approach.

The Rojiblancos have begun discussions with Rafael Sastre and David Barral, both of whom are also out of contract in 2011.
